The toilet is fine. It was operator error.
It took over five years, but THE SECOND BATHROOM IS DONE (except for some minor finishing touches). Not since using the squatty potties in China has a flushing toilet and a sink with running water made me this happy.
I have to adjust the curtains a bit, as they’re too long. But a scissors and some fusible webbing will take care of that.
I’ll post pictures when I get those curtains done.
I officially got caught up with all my classes on Wednesday night. All the grading was done, I just had to get ready for the finals and the grading to come. This is the first time this semester that I’ve been completely caught up. There’s a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.
So now I’m spending my time trying to get ahead. It feels weird, but it’s better than procrastinating to the bitter end.
It’s been a random day. To keep up with my NaBloPoMo pledge, here’s my day in bullets:
Now it’s time to go home and hit the hay. Housecleaning and more classroom work on the schedule for tomorrow.
To swipe a bit from Keith Olbermann, here’s the Tweet of The Day

There’s a rabbit in our neighborhood that has some odd protrusions on it’s head. The rabbit we first noticed this rabbit the summer before last, munching on my neighbor’s garden. We referred to it initially as “that funny rabbit”. John was certain it has it’s twin (or what was left) attached to it’s head. So we started referring to it as Mr. Doublebuns.
It survived the winter, and when we saw it this spring it had grown very fat. Still enjoying the early produce of the neighborhood gardens.
A week or so later, the rabbit was suddenly thinner. That’s when I realised Mr. was probably a Ms.
If I would have posted yesterday, it would have looked something like this:
(obcenity) bead board (obcenity) didn’t tape everything up (obcenity, obcenity) “D” doesn’t stand for “dear” in DH (obcenity, obcenity, obcenity).
But, the bathroom painting is done. Two coats.
I’m at the Best Buy Campus this morning for WordCamp. And this is a picture of what we were met with this morning.
At home there’s about two inches of heavy, wet snow. It’s heartattack snow, the kind that is terrible to shovel.
I’m inside, drying off with a peppermint mocha in hand, exciyed about what I will learn today.
